How to connect your Shopify account(s)
Click on the blue profile image (or it could have a custom background image) in the upper righthand corner of the screen, then click on ‘My Account’ in the drop down menu.
Then the ‘Settings’ area will appear. In the left sidebar menu, click on ‘Integrations’.
Click on the blue ‘Add Integration’ button to set up a new integration.
You will then be redirected to the SkillSuite Shopify app page. You will need to download the app and install it on your Shopify site.
You will then be prompted to log into your Shopify store.
It will take a moment for the authorization to go through. As it’s authorizing and connecting, it will show a progress modal.
Once the connection has completed, a success message will display.
How to access App Integrations
After you have connected your account, you can then view the accounts that are connected and have the ability to disconnect them if desired.
How to create Shopify products
In the Course Builder, click on the ‘Integrations’ tab.
Under ‘Integrations’ click on ‘Store Products’.
A list will then appear where you can view all of the products you have created related to that particular course. You can create as many products as desired for the same course.
If any integrations haven’t been set up yet, a message will appear directing where to go to set up an integration. If the user doesn’t access to company settings, it is noted to talk to an administrator to get that set up.
When you click on the blue ‘+ Create New Product’ button.
A new page will appear where you can set the active status, enter product name, set a price, select enrollment type and set completion timeline.
When you click ‘Save’ to create the new product you will be redirected to the product page in your Shopify account where you can set up all the further details. Only the basic information will be stored in SkillSuite, so make sure to complete all of the details in your Shopify store.
When you save the product in Shopify, you be redirected back to SkillSuite where you will see a message that your product has been successfully created.
How to view reports and registrations
Under the ‘Integrations’ tab, click on ‘Integrations Reports’.
You then will select which product you want to review statistics for.
You can view how much you have earned from your product on Shopify. You can view lifetime earnings vs monthly earnings.
You can view the amount of purchases made from your product on Shopify. You can view the date, customer name, product name, price paid, and your revenue.
You can view refunds issues for your product on Shopify. You can view the date, customer name, product name, price paid, and refund amount.
You can view all the learners assigned to your course from the purchases on Shopify. You can view their name, when they enrolled in the course, and their email address.
You can view an overview of how your course is doing in terms of engagement. You can view amount of active learners, number of purchase, number of courses started, the completion rate and completion status.
